Tulsa Facility heroes introduce the Recognition Road Trip Bottle to their Oklahoma hometown on Oct. 19, 2021. As the second largest city in Oklahoma, Tulsa rests on the banks of the Arkansas River and is known as the “oil capital of the world.”
The Recognition Roadtrip Bottle in front of the iconic Route 66 Bridge in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Once a lifeline from East to West, Route 66 followed the path of present day I-44.
At the center of Route 66, millions of travelers passed through Tulsa between 1926 and 1985. From Chicago to Los Angeles, the historic Route 66 was the original highway connecting the Eastern United States to the West.
