The Recognition Roadtrip Bottle took a vacation to Paris…but not in Europe! CCSWB heroes welcomed the Bottle to Paris, TEXAS on Feb. 15, 2022. This Texas city is one of 23 cities and towns across the U.S. named for France’s capital, but it’s the only one considered “The Second Largest Paris in the World!”

Paris heroes take the Recognition Roadtrip Bottle out to enjoy the sunshine below one of the city’s main attractions: Texas’ own 65-foot tall Eiffel Tower. Like its European counterpart, it lights up at night. But unlike the one in France, the Texas Eiffel Tower has its very own, bright red 10-gallon cowboy hat!

Paris heroes and the Recognition Roadtrip Bottle pay their respects at the Red River Valley Veteran’s Memorial on Feb. 15, 2022. The Memorial and its museum are built for reflection, remembrance and gratitude for the men and women who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces.

Paris heroes and the Recognition Roadtrip Bottle visit the Ring of Honor in the center of the Red River Valley Veteran’s Memorial on Feb. 15, 2022. The Ring of Honor is the Memorial’s centerpiece, honoring all U.S. service members from the five counties around Paris (Lamar, Delta, Fannin, Red River in Texas and Choctaw in Oklahoma) that were killed in action.

Paris heroes pose with the Recognition Roadtrip Bottle in front of the Coca-Cola mural at the Lamar Theater on Feb. 15, 2022. Located in downtown Paris, the Lamar Theater was built in 1929 and closed in 1963. After its closing, sheet metal was added to the building, hiding the theater for over half a century. But during renovations in 2018, contractors removed the metal to reveal the old brick theater still intact – complete with this vintage Coca-Cola mural painted on the side!

Paris heroes and the Recognition Roadtrip Bottle stop for a bite to eat at Roosters Café in neighboring town, Reno, TX. Fun fact: Roosters Café has its own family ties to CCSWB. The cafe is owned by Cayton Flippen (left), whose father, Michael Flippen (right), is the Regional Sales Manager at the CCSWB Paris Sales Center!

Paris heroes take the Recognition Roadtrip Bottle to the Paris CCSWB Sales Center on Feb. 15, 2022. On the Sales Center property, a State Marker commemorates the Hospital for Children and the Sanitarium of Paris McCuistion Community Hospital, which were formerly housed there. In fact, two CCSWB heroes were actually born in the hospital: Michael Flippen, Regional Sales Manager (second from the left) and Richie Huie, Northeast Director (not pictured). You could say they were born to be a part of the CCSWB team!
