CCSWB heroes welcome the Recognition Roadtrip Bottle to Nacogdoches on Jan. 20 2022. The city’s name – pronounced “na·kuh·doh·chuhs” – comes from the Native American Caddo tribe. Local legend says it originated from an old Caddo chief and his twin sons. One son founded Nacogdoches, the other founded Natchitoches in Louisiana, and the road between the two communities is still well-traveled to this day!
