CCSWB heroes welcome the Recognition Roadtrip Bottle to McAllen on March 9, 2022. Established in 1904, the city was originally a transportation hub for the St. Louis, Brownsville and Mexico Railway. Today, it has become one of the fastest-growing cities in the U.S., known for its tropical weather, brightly colored birds and vibrant culture.
McAllen heroes welcome the Recognition Roadtrip Bottle to their facility on March 9, 2022. The McAllen facility is the southern-most facility in CCSWB’s territory, and it sits only minutes away from the U.S.-Mexico border.
McAllen heroes saddle up with the Recognition Roadtrip Bottle by the statue of the Vaquero of Nuevo Santander outside the McAllen Performing Arts Center on March 9, 2022. The bronze statue, designed by artist Jason Scull, depicts a life-size vaquero on his horse overlooking a longhorn and her calf. It was created as a nod to the birth of the cattle industry in South Texas and Northern Mexico.
McAllen heroes and the Recognition Roadtrip Bottle explored BobzWorld on March 9, 2022. The prehistoric adventure park offers guests the chance to take a journey through time, seeing volcanoes, dinosaurs and pirate ships – as the park’s motto says, “You gotta see it to believe it!”

The beautiful beach city was originally home to the larger-than-life native Karankawa tribe, which was known to protect their home with huge bows and arrows that the average man was not capable of drawing back.

It is home to several famous shipwrecks – including a famous wreck in 1554 that resulted in millions of dollars of silver lost! (Unfortunately, you can’t keep it if you find it – any lost-and-found treasure must be turned over to the State of Texas.)

The Recognition Roadtrip Bottle catches some rays at the beach on South Padre Island on March 9, 2022. The beach is near the Laguna Madre Bay, one of six hyper-saline bays in the world with salt content higher in the bay than the rest of the ocean. This is crucial for sea life in the Gulf of Mexico – and fun for visitors, who will float better in the water!

The 9,000-square-foot waterfront restaurant on South Padre Island offers live music seven days of the week. Visitors can watch the sunset, see fireworks in the summertime and even take a sunset dinner cruise with the Southern Wave Catamaran!
